Hi everyone,
This week I got to do a collaboration with Jessica! I painted a pumpkin while she took the photos. My family had already had pumpkins in our yard, so I want out and found a small one that would be easier to paint. Once I found my pumpkin, I went to Pinterest to find some ideas, I have never painted a pumpkin before so this was all new to me. I decided to do a Frankenstein style pumpkin. It took quite a while to paint because the orange just did not want to stay hidden. Overall I think It turned out really well. Here are some of the photos Jess took. Go take a look at Jessica’s blog and see how she took these photos!!

I also wanted to start working on the another project. I have been doing a lot of Painting, Pastels and other Crafts, so I wanted to work on some drawing/ sketching. Growing up I was not very good at drawing, I could just never get the hang of it but know that I am getting older I really enjoy doodling or drawing things. Although it is still new to me so please go easy on me! Here is just the sketching, hopefully next week I can finish coloring it in. Let me know which character is your favourite!!

Hey Tash,
This is such a cute idea! I absolutely love Halloween, and I feel like pumpkin carving is such a huge part of that. I’ve always wanted to do pumpkin carving with my future elementary kiddos but didn’t know how to do this safely. Painting them is so smart! I went to the pumpkin patch with the kid I nanny for last week and we found a pumpkin, but he’s too little to carve it. I can’t wait to use your idea and paint it with him tomorrow. Also, those sketches are so good! They look like you really put a lot of time and effort into them. My favourite is Tigger!

My L2P also painted pumpkins this year and they all loved it! They had to pick a book and base their painting around that book so there were spider man, captain underpants, baby mouse, Harry Potter and so much more. I think that is so cool that you got to paint with the kid you nanny for, I bet that was a lot of fun. I would love to see how is painting went!!

Hey Tash,
Consider me inspired to paint a pumpkin this year instead of carve one. Your pumpkin turned out so well. Also great job to Jess with all these photos I feel like the green pumpkin with surrounded by all the orange pumpkins made the picture really fabulous.
